The 5th Annual 2018 NEF Indoor RC Festival will be held on Friday evening March 23 and all day Saturday March 24 2018 at the University of AKRON Stile Athletics Field House. On-line advance registration is now open at our website, http://www.ohioelectricfly.com
The “Friday evening Fun-Fly” starts the event off with open flying for three hours after dinner. Then the main event is ALL DAY Saturday (9am to 9pm), featuring the usual things you’ve become used to during the past 5 years- lots of open flying, a few fun contests and demos, some great local vendors, and a terrific time! Don’t forget we will have our “Full Contact Combat” event Saturday afternoon, as well as a couple of spectacular club raffles.
Spectator admission is $5/day, Free for kids 12 and under with a paid adult. Free parking on campus. Pilot registration for this event is $25, must be an AMA member to fly. (Academy of Model Aeronautics).
Some local flying clubs will attend with information about their clubs – and will offer some spectacular raffles which will be awarded on Saturday evening.There will be an AMA-sanctioned F3P precision aerobatic competition as well.
